What does this mean for small business?? Well, I would like to point out two things.

First, anyone using an Apple product is affected. However, if you do regular updates or have them set to automatically update then you should already have the security patch installed. This is the perfect example of why everyone needs to stay updated on operating system security patches. Phones are really tricky because you need to update the Apple/Android operating system as well as the carriers (Verizon, ATT, Sprint, etc.)

The second thing to mention is that the article also states that these vulnerabilities and how to exploit them are being sold on the dark web for millions of dollars. Literally anyone can end up with the new way to hack your device and the nature of zero-day is that it just came out so no one knows how to prevent it or stop it. This is also a perfect example of why you need to protect your information so even if you are a victim, you will not lose your data!
